Does anyone have any knowledge of this company or probucts?

A small add in the back of the Railway Modeller caught my eye today about there 601 controller to operate DC loco using wireless/bluetooth system via smartphone and tablets or the hand held controller. They quote a range of 50 meter could be achived.

I've watched there prom on you tube and it looks ok although the website leave someone like me in the dark a bit.

The system look great for outdoor use for those who want to stay with DC over DCC and all for under £60.

Nothing is as simple as it first looks. Tracked down a thread on RM web adout this idea. Apparently this is a bluetooth system which works on a chip simular to a dcc on allowing you to use a dc system in the same way as dcc ie multi locos on same track using power from the track or on board battery.

Plenty of info in the DCC section on RMweb but it totally went over my head. Seems a lot of faffing about but it does appear to be a cheaper option for someone who want greater control if they operate DC only. No sound options yet.

UK distribution via Costal DCC. May be worth a look if your teckie minded.
