Hi Tony, I saw your pictures on your layout thread, it will certainly make an unusual load. I like to see something different from the normal run of the mill stuff.

I am trying not to think about Christmas at the moment, I keep getting requests/demands from the kids and It's frightening :o

I was trying to do some work on my outdoor sections this past week in between goingto work but it's done nothing but damn rain. I have a few days off now at the moment but.............................it's raining again :x and tomorrow they say its going to..............................................................be even worse!

Don't like the idea of the Fire season! We see the devastation caused by these wild fires on the news truly frightening!:shock:

We don't get much in the way of thunder storms here either, just miserable, grey damp days, usually from about now till the spring, then folks wonder why were grumpy from time to time :lol:

But in the Summer we have warm rain.

Hi Roddy, yeah I am also looking for different load ideas, and the wind Turbine is the answer, did you have a look on the link would of seen lots of close up pics of how the blades side in the cradles.

I won't be able to do my cradles that way because the turbine blades will be solid and not bend like then real ones and if you did have a look the cradles had wheel so when the train goes around a curve they will slide back and forward on the main cradle frame.

When the kits arrive next eek will measure the blades and trace them on paper, the project wont start happening till after Christmas, can't wait.

Yeah my wife hates Christmas too, my mum is cutting back also, only buying for six of us and no grand children except my son as he is disabled, has MD.

Bush fires can be a pain as the smoke affects my asthma and have to close up and have the air-con on, reversed, we were lucky last season, a couple of years back we had a mad bush fire a few blocks away, had the chopper water bombers flying over.

You can send some of your rain clouds our way as it is very dry here, only mowed the foot path today, back yard didn't need a mow, all I would of been mowing is dust.

Tony. :D:)
