Well sad times, we are moving which is great but means uplifting the railway to a new location...

I understand how you must be feeling having to dismantle your layout as I had to do the same several years ago. But it's not the end, it's the chance for a new chapter in your life and hopefully a new beginning for your railway.

You will have learned a great deal from your previous layout and you'll be able to put that to good use enabling you to construct something even better next time. I'm sure these must be exciting times for you so get out there and enjoy it all. We look forward to following your progress in due course.

Well sad times, we are moving which is great but means uplifting the railway to a new location...

Started operation rebuild after alot of neglect. I'm lifting each section up higher and rewiring alot of it, as it no longer works... here is the first bit done, with some cars needing to be added.

Thanks all, yes there is a larger garden at the new house, blank canvas so will be interesting to see what develops, sadly it will have to wait for a while as other jobs. But hoping to get a new line

Thanks all, yes there is a larger garden at the new house, blank canvas so will be interesting to see what develops, sadly it will have to wait for a while as other jobs. But hoping to get a new line up that is much easier to run and can use it more, lessons learnt for sure, perhaps not ground level next time, as getting harder to bend down and it gets very mucky..
