Bachmann Peppercorn A2 4-6-2

The Bachmann website has now been updated to include images of the forthcoming model of the ex LNER Peppercorn Class A2 4-6-2 locomotive.

A Limited Edition model of the A2 Class 'Blue Peter' in BR Green with Double Chimney and late crest on the tender sides is expected for release in June/July 2010 and is presented in a wooden case.

Following on from 'Blue Peter' will be three standard issue models. Catalogue No.31-525 depicts Peppercorn A2 No. 525 'A.H. Peppercorn' in LNER Apple Green with a single chimney and LNER on the tender sides. Cat No. 31-526 depicts Peppercorn A2 No. 60537 'Bachelors Button' in BR Green with single chimney and the early crest on the tender sides. Cat No. 31-527 depicts Peppercorn A2 No. 60528 'Tudor Minstral' in BR Apple Green with a single chimney and 'British Railways' on the tender sides. All 3 standard versions are expected to be released in July/August 2010.
