doublecee
Picked mine up today. Ordered the full set, but only the power and dummy power in so far. Went for the Blue Grey as thats my era. Amazing detail!

mick
As with most Southern region rolling stock I don't know anything about them whatsoever but I do remember seeing images/footage of the umber & cream Brighton Belle. When I saw the Hornby blue/grey version I couldn't associate with it at all and decided it was one set that I could manage without. Then today I was looking on a certain retailers website who now have stock of the 1934 umber/cream livery version and immediately I thought "yes, that's one that should be added to my collection". I think it's really the yellow front end on the blue/grey livery that I'm not too keen on. So, with my plans for a 'preserved' type railway, albeit somewhat tongue in cheek at times, the 1934 version has been duly ordered!
