This 33211 in rail blue - a Heljan product. It is fitted with a Howes sound chip and boy is it good :!: The loco has been fitted with the bufferbeam detailing at one end and portrays the classic "89" headcode, used for Cardiff/Bristol to Portsmouth services. It will mostly be seen hauling the 5 car Mk1 set, but may also have a few freight turns to do also. The loco needs weathering - this will be done over the winter and will probably be quite heavy.

I've never had anything to do with class 33 loco's. Can't remember seeing one and certainly never been on the footplate of one - but they are an attractive looking loco. However, when finances are stretched it's good to have a selection of loco's that you can't quite justify on your layout, even if it does mean missing out on some good ones.
