Thanks, I've been looking at the available bits and pieces online - there probably isn't too much money to be made in this otherwise we would see the big manufacturers doing it. I'm even happy with the battery going in a wagon/coach if it helps with space. It's probably more a proof of concept I'm looking to do.

Hello, I was wondering if someone may be able to point me in the right direction of a basic radio control set up? I have limited experience with soldering so I'm just looking for something basic - my layout is still at the planning stage and won't be prototypical - so I'm looking for the easiest locomotive to convert. Thanks!
