Hi Mick I've been reading your detailed information and gradual progress on your railway during the past year with the knowledge that I would be retiring and downsizing. I had a nice loft layout, but now I have sold up and the only available space in the smaller house is outdoors. Your website has been very useful and given me some good ideas to make a start, which I have been working on since August. When I have some spare time, I will start a thread in your members layout area (with your permission). Meanwhile, I have just put a video on Youtube. Hi I recently moved from a house that had a large loft area in which I had a good layout with about 30 dcc loco's. Now I have moved to a smaller house and my only option is a garden railway. Because I may only stay in the house for perhaps a couple of years or so, the idea of a modular setup that could be dismantled really appeals to me. I have been mulling over the idea for a while but have not come up with a good solution. Any ideas would be welcome. Trev
