Pontefract Steam in the snow No.1

A Wakefield-Goole local passenger train enters the old Tanshelf Station at Pontefract hauled by an Ivatt Class 2 2-6-0 locomotive No. 46437 some time during the winter of 1955-56. 
The six coach formation of the train suggests that it is the 9.45am Saturday train to Goole which detached three of its coaches at Knottingley to comprise a Saturday's only Knottingley - Wakefield train later in the morning. The remaining three coaches would work forward to Goole.
