Stack Gill Viaduct 30

A close up view of the girder bridges and the method I adopted to secure them in place. You can see the two longitudinal iron bars upon which the bridges rest - these bars are set into channels cut into the tops of the viaduct piers at either side. Two short iron bars (one of them noticeable due to its rust colour in the photo), are secured at right angles to the longer bars using plastic tie wraps which are secured through the base of the bridge itself and then, in turn, beneath the small bars.
